These Hawk HPS Super Duty pads use a ferro-carbon formulation tuned for higher coefficient of friction and elevated temperature capability. The compound is built for increased stopping power compared with many stock pads, with reported improvements in the 20–40% range under typical operating conditions. That translates to firmer pedal feel, improved resistance to brake fade during repeated stops or towing, and reduced dust generation relative to some OE materials.
